1. Scope and contact

This Privacy Policy describes how Snowhut Studio handles personal information through its websites, applications, and related services that link to it. It is shared across our applications. The information processed depends on the application, the features you use, and your settings. Additional notices within an application explain feature-specific processing and supplement this policy. Snowhut Studio is responsible for the information it processes to operate these Services. For privacy questions and requests, use our contact form.

2. Information we process

Depending on the Service, we process account information such as your email address, name, account identifier, and sign-in details; content you choose to provide, such as documents, images, records, text, and extracted data; settings and preferences; and messages you send to support. If you use an external sign-in provider, we receive the account information and identifiers it shares with your permission. For paid features, stores or payment providers may share purchase status, transaction references, and subscription entitlements; payment details are handled by the checkout provider.

3. Technical information and permissions

Our hosting and infrastructure providers process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, device or browser information, timestamps, and security or error logs to deliver and protect the Services. Applications may request camera, photo-library, file, or other device permissions for a feature you choose to use. You can manage these permissions in your device settings; disabling them may prevent the related feature from working.

4. How and why we use information

We use information to provide requested features, maintain accounts, process and organise your content, enable purchases or integrations, answer support requests, and protect against abuse. We also use relevant technical information to diagnose problems and maintain reliability. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our agreement with you, consent for processing that requires it, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests in running and securing the Services, subject to your rights.

5. On-device storage, cloud features, and AI

Some information may remain on your device. When you use cloud storage, synchronisation, backup, or server-based processing, the relevant information is sent to our infrastructure providers. Local storage, cloud sync, and original-file backup may have separate controls. Where you use AI or automated processing, the content needed for that task is sent to the processing provider, as described in the application’s feature notice. Review the available settings and notices before submitting sensitive information.

6. Service providers and sharing

We use providers for functions such as hosting, authentication, storage, security, automated processing, and purchases. They receive information needed for their role, subject to applicable agreements and safeguards. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate safeguards and notice where required. App-specific notices identify providers or additional processing where relevant.

7. Exports and external applications

When you connect an external service or trigger an export, the selected information is sent to the destination you choose. Depending on the application, destinations may include spreadsheets, databases, or webhook endpoints. Connection credentials or tokens are used to provide the integration. Disconnecting an integration stops future access through that connection but does not remove copies already sent. The destination’s own privacy policy governs those copies; manage or delete them with that provider.

8. Cookies and similar storage

Websites and applications may use cookies or similar browser or device storage for sign-in, preferences, security, and local application data. External resources requested by a page, such as hosted fonts, may receive technical connection information. Browser and device settings let you manage storage, although blocking it can affect functionality. If an application introduces optional analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking, its notice and consent controls will explain that processing before it is enabled where required.

9. Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the features you use and for relevant security, support, dispute-resolution, and legal obligations. The period depends on the data and its purpose. You can use available deletion controls or contact us to request deletion. Removing an application from your device may not delete a cloud account or cloud content. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups or records required by law; it is removed or isolated when those purposes end. Copies exported to other services must be managed there.

10. Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure. Providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we use appropriate contractual or other recognised mechanisms. Contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your use of a Service.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information; restrict or object to certain processing; and withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. Use the available application controls or our contact form, including the application name and your request. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. We respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

12. Children’s information

Our Services are not directed at children under 13 unless an application expressly states otherwise and provides an appropriate notice and safeguards. Do not provide personal information if you are below the minimum age required by the relevant Service or applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information contrary to these requirements, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

13. Policy updates

We may update this policy as our Services change. The date above identifies the latest revision. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required, and obtain consent for new processing where applicable law requires it. Use our contact form with questions about this policy or a particular application.
